How many estimates do I need to get?
Actually, you only NEED to get one. You might not even need to do that, because many insurance companies will use their own appraisers to estimate the damage. But remember, they often make a superficial assessment and are working for the insurance company not you. And as the owner of your vehicle you can always choose who fixes it.
Where do I get a claim number?
When you contact your insurance company to make a claim, the representative will give you a claim number.
Are you open on Saturday?
Yes, but not in June, July and August. We're open from 9am to 12 noon on Saturdays the rest of the year.
Will you have the part for my car when I drop it off?
As soon as you schedule your appointment, we order your parts.
Can I get other service work done during my collision repairs?
Of course. That's why we have a full service mechanical center on site.
How long do repairs take?
Your estimator will give you an approximate date of delivery when your vehicle is first scheduled for repair.
Can you match my car's paint color?
Relax. Our paint technicians use a state-of-the-art computer paint-matching system to restore your vehicle to its factory finish.
What if additional damage is found during repairs?
Not a problem. We simply notify your insurance company, and often the appraiser comes to our shop to re-inspect the damage. The claim is still open, and we make the repair.
Is frame damage repairable?
Some! Some damage is repairable. However, since the advent of "unibody" construction and the use of High-Strength Low Allow (HSLA) steel, frame repair has become a specialized field. Guess who specializes in it? We have the sophisticated diagnostic and repair tools and the trained technicians to get the job done right.
Will my repaired vehicle be worth what it was before the accident?
Unfortunately, probably not. But in most states you have the right to be compensated for this if the other party was at fault. In some states, you can even collect for this damage from your insurance carrier when you are at fault. Check with your insurance carrier for more information.
Can I get a ride home when I drop of my car?
Every time. As long as you drop off during regular business hours we'll always give you a ride home.
How do I arrange for a rental if I need one?
Let us know and we'll have Enterprise meet you here with a rental car when you drop yours off.
Is there a warranty on the repairs made to my vehicle?
A solid one! Brothers Collision and Mechanical warranties the workmanship performed by our facility for 5 years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first provided you still own your car. For further details of what is and what is not covered just ask for a written copy of our warranty.
Do I have to pay a deductible and who do I pay it too?
Depending on your insurance you may have to pay a deductible. If so, you pay it to Brothers Collision and Mechanical as part of the invoice.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, check, Discover, Visa and MasterCard (credit cards can be use on payments of $500 or less).
Can I wash my car?
A pleasant surprise. Because we use Devilbiss downdraft spray booth with a baking oven, you can wash your vehicle the day you pick it up! But of course, if you purchase one of our detail packages, you won't have to.
